SC339....Take Care

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today I have another quick share for you, this one is done with the sketch challenge this week on Splitcoaststampers.

Nice sketch, I actually change it just a bit. they had a panel across the bottom and I used some ribbon instead.  I had a friend tell me recently that I tend to get stuck on a stamp set and use it alot. I guess that is true, I DO LOVE this set. It is the level 2 hostess set in the Summer Mini called "Love & Care" I teamed it up this time with some new DSP, This is from the new "Pocketful of Posies" and it will be available for purchase out of the new Stampin' Up Catalog that breaks tomorrow, July 1st.

I inked up the stamp and stamped it twice on some whisper white card stock, with razzleberry ink and old olive ink, getting a slightly lighter image on the second stamp.

I added some white satin ribbon and silver pearls to the card. The sentiment is from the same set and stamped with black stazon.

Well, that is all from me today thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

CC329.....Friend

Happy Hump Day Peeps!

Popping in here for a quick share. This is a card I made yesterday for the color challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The colors are soft Suede, Crumb cake and Melon Mambo. Neutral of white or vanilla.  I went with a piece of Shimmer White card stock I had in my scrap pile. I stamped the flowers from the new hostess set, Simply Soft, with soft suede. I used my stamp a ma jig to add the melon mambo into the flowers. The stamp set, that will be available in July, is a 2-step stamp set and has the "fillers" for the flowers, I like that you can use it two ways, either color it in yourself or use the solid stamps to add color.

I keep my card very simple, that way the flower image is the star.
I used a base of soft suede and then added a strip of crumb cake on each side and a bit of DS paper from the Elegant Soiree paper pack.

I added the main image, which is matted with some melon mambo card stock, to the base with some dimesionals. I pierced all around the main piece using my piercing tool and matt pack. The sentiment comes from the "You're a Gem" stamp set and is stamped with soft suede ink. I added a few basic pearls under the sentiment.  The dessert option on the challenge was to use butterflies. I added a layered butterfly to the card using the Sizzix Embosslits Beautiful Wings. I layered two crumb cake butterflies and one melon mambo butterfly. I then added a couple of small pearls to the center of the butterfly.

Well, that is all from me, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Paper Players Sketch....on your Birthday

Good Monday Morning Peeps.

Today I a sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge this week on the The Paper Players Blog. I had saw a really pretty card made by the ever so talented Deb from ARTfelt Impressions and I used that for my inspiration on this card. I love the new in color called Wisteria Wonder. I paired it up with some Concord Crush, and the DSP is from the new Flirtatious Speciality Paper Pack.

The base of the card is Wisteria Wonder card stock and then came the strips of DSP backed with Concord Crush card stock. I used the new Perfect Pennants die with Concord Crush card stock for the circle element. I then stamped the doily with wisteria ink onto whisper white card stock. I used my 1-3/4 inch circle punch to punch it out. I added to the Concord Crush piece with some dimensionals.

I added some whisper white satin ribbon and some basic pearls across the flag piece from the sketch. The sentiment is from the "On Your Birthday" stamp set and is stamped with Concord Crush ink. It is a bit blurry but I was almost done with the card and didn't want to start over. It is still very readable so I thought I would just go with it! I added a few more pearls in the top corners. I am not completely happy with this one but it is OK. I might try that sketch again later. I have a couple of card orders to complete this week so I may be a little less active with my post.

Thanks for coming by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SSSC123......Party Owl

GOOD MORNING PEEPS!!!

It's Sunday which means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge sample.

Here is the sketch that Karen has for us this week:

While looking at the sketch and deciding what I wanted to do with I decided on two things, I wanted to use my owl punch and I wanted to use some more of the Stampin'Up Sunny Garden  DS paper pack, this pack is retiring soon and I will miss it, but I have used it alot.

I was looking around and saw this cute little bag with made with the owl punch and using the Hostess Birthday Bakery stamp set. I loved it, so cute!!! So I used that as my starting point. My card base is Poppy Parade and I followed that with some so saffron card stock. Of course the DSP is from the Sunny Garden pack. I punched out the owl with poppy parade and added his little vest with some of the DSP. I added some googlie eyes to my owl. The sentiment and the gift bag he is carrying comes from the Birthday Bakery stamp set. I stamped the bag onto some DSP and paper pieced the heart and stripe. The tissue paper is actually white tissue paper. I used some Early Espresso Bakers twine for the handle. I then decided my "Party Owl" needed to bring some balloons to the party so I dug out my "Crazy for Cupcakes" stamp set and stamped out some balloons onto some so saffron, poppy parade and DSP. I cut them out and added them to the card with some dimensionals.

I used some Early Espresso Bakers Twine for the balloon tails and then covered the balloons with crystal effects.  I finished off the card with some poppy parade ribbon and a few silver pearls.

I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OCC...Design Team Call

Good Saturday Morning Peeps. It is time for another new challenge on the Our Creative Corner Blog. This week is a VERY special challenge for you - this week is a DESIGN TEAM CALL! That's right, YOU could be the next OCC designer! We want to see a card that is YOUR STYLE - whatever that style is, just make a brand new card showcasing your awesome abilities and tell us all about you and your style! The OCC team is diverse and we'd love to see what you would bring to the table!

My card made to showcase MY style was made using the new "Flower Fest" stamp set. I stamped the flower several times with versamark onto some pretty in pink card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. I stamped a few leaves onto pear pizzazz card stock and did the same white embossing with them. I cut and layered up the flower with some dimensionals. I added a bit of color to the flowers using my aqua painter and some Melon Mambo ink. I cut out the leaves and added them around the flower.

The sentiment is from the "A Word For You" stamp set and was stamped onto some pretty shimmer white card stock with black stazon, Of course a card of mine wouldn't be complete with out some ribbon, I used some whisper white satin ribbon to wrap around and tie a bow.  I used a bit of Pretty in Pink Pattern Prints DSP across the bottom and matted the whole main piece with Pear Pizzazz card stock. I added this piece to a Pretty in Pink base.  I added a few basic pearls to finish it off. I think this card represents my style fairly well altho I do think I have many "styles". :)

There are multiple design team places available and the winners will be invited to join the team at the start of August. Please don't be shy - if you've never been on a design team or you haven't even tried before, just remember we've all been in your shoes, all you have to do is have a blog, show us your style and be proud! Please don't forget to link back to the OCC in your post and tell us a little about your personal style!

Thanks for stopping by today nad HAPPY STAMPING!!!

SC338....thinking of you

Happy Thursday peeps!! Hope you are having a great week so far.

Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge this week on splitcoaststampers. Cute simple sketch, just how I like them!!!

They had said in the sketch challenge thread to "Keep the partial circle almost as large as your card's height, if possible." I used my circle and scallop circle nesties to make my circle. To keep the circle almost as large as my card height I made my card 4-1/2 inch square.

I used crumb cake for my card base and then I followed that with some so saffron and then the DSP is from the Sunny Garden paper pack. I used poppy parade cardstock for my scallop and the image is on very vanilla card stock. I used the "Touch of Happiness" stamp set and stamped with black stazon. I used my aqua painter and ink pads to color in the image. I used basic gray for the bird bath,  poppy parade for my little red birds and flower. I used some wild wasabi for the grass and ground. I  used some bashful blue for the water and added some crystal effects to the water.

I added the sentiment with black stazon and used some so saffron grosgrain ribbon to wrap around and tie a bow. I finished off with a few silver pearls.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

CC328.....Wish Big

Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card I made with the color challenge today on Splitcoaststampers. Today's colors are Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy with a neutral of your choice.

I had been wanting to play a bit with this new stamp set, Delicate Doilies from Stampin' Up. I got this stamp set in my pre-order stuff from the new catalog that will go live on July 1st. This set is really pretty and has 4 different stamps in it. I had seen a card last week made with this set that I really like, of course I can't find it right now, but it was made with different colors. I used that for my inspiration for this card.

I stamped the doily onto crumb cake with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I used my aqua painter and night of navy and cherry cobbler ink to color the doily in. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up "Word Play" stamp set. I matted this with night of navy card stock and then with a piece of cherry cobbler card stock. I embossed one end of the cherry cobbler card stock with my big shot and dot embossing folder. I added some pretty night of navy satin ribbon around the card and tied a pretty bow. I just love all the Stampin' Up satin ribbon, it ties beautiful bows. The night of Navy satin is retiring, I just opened my roll of this ribbon for the first time for this card......sigh!

Well, that is all from me, thanks for coming by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

The Paper Players.....Birthday

Good Monday Morning Peeps!!!
How was your weekend? We had a great one!
Today I am sharing a card I made yesterday with the sketch challenge on the The Paper Players Blog. I guess my card turned out a bit like the sketch! I again reached for the wonderful Hostess set from the Stampin' Up Summer Mini called "Love & Care". I do love these flowers. I broke into a pack of the new in-colors this one is called  "Wisteria Wonder"! OH MY, I do LOVE this color!! It is gorgeous! The DS paper here is from the "Flirtatious" Speciality paper pack, this paper will be in the new catalog that comes out July 1st.  It is awesome, you will definitely want some of this!!!

I tried to keep my card fairly clean and simple. I added my sentiment to the main image panel instead of where it was indicated on the sketch, so I added some whisper white satin ribbon around the card and tied a pretty bow. I finished it off with some basic pearls in the top corners and under the sentiment.

Well, that is all from me for now, I finished up my very first control freak swap cards and will be mailing them out today, so I will try and post a pic of them later after everyone has gotten their swaps. Hope they like them I am super nervous about that.

Well, have a great day and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

SSSC122....thinking of you

Good Morning Peeps!!!

It is Sunday so that means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Here is the fun sketch Karen has for us this week:

I varied the sketch just a bit by bringing in my DSP layer just a bit. The base of the card is Riding Hood Red card stock. I followed that up with some crumb cake card stock and the DS paper is from a retired pack, I am not sure of the name.

The bowl of cherries stamp is from a new set that will be available in July and is called "Cherish Friendship". I stamped the image with black stazon onto some watercolor paper. I colored in the image with riding hood red, old olive and soft suede ink. The image is layered onto a die cut which is from the Perfect Pennants die. I added some crystal effects to the cherries and added some silver pearls all around the die cut.

The sentiment is from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set.

I added three silver brads to the top corner. I kept my design CAS. I really love this new stamp set. Cute huh?

I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with and don't forget to link it up over at Karen's blog for all of us to see.

OK, let's see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Team has in store for us this week:

OCC..Color Challenge Thanks

Good Saturday Morning Peeps!

It is time for another new challenge over on the Our Creative Corner Blog. This week our challenge hostess is Lori Rider and she has a fun color challenge with a twist for us.

The twist: use at least three different punches, and one of the three has to be a border punch.

I used a retired SAB set called "Sweet Summer". I really love this set and these fun flowers. I stamped with black stazon onto watercolor paper. I stamped the flower heads onto some scrap watercolor paper and colored them in with my aqua painter using both razzleberry ink and regal rose ink. I colored the stem and leaves with soft suede ink. I cut out the flower heads and added them to the main image piece with some dimensionals.

I used my first punch to round the top corners of the image panel. I then decided to use two border punches to make my ruffled bottom pieces. I used the lace border and scallop border punches. I used baja breeze, regal rose, soft suede and rich razzleberry card stock.

I added some rich razzleberry satin ribbon to tie around and make a bow. The sentiment on here comes from the Afterthoughts hostess stamp set. I added alot of tiny silver pearls to the flowers.

I hope you’ll play along this week and have fun with this challenge! Be sure to check out the rest of the OCC  design team creations! To play along, upload your creation to your blog or gallery, then leave a comment linking to your project over at Our Creative Corner so we can check it out. If you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: OCCC.

Well that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

PPA......for you

TGIF Peeps!!!!

Are you ready for some weekend fun?
I know I am, we have plans for dinner out tonight with some friends and chillin' out the rest of the weekend. Suppose to be HOT and humid so probably spending alot of time inside with the AC cranked up!!
 What you doing this weekend?

Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge this week on  Pals Paper Arts.

I haven't participated in one of their challenges in a long time and yesterday when I was looking around blog land I came across the sketch challenge this week and wanted to play along.

I wanted to use this new Stampin Up  Hostess set I just got last week called "Love & Care".
I really love these flowers and colors and I used another fave, the pretty "Sunny Garden" DSP. I stamped the flowers with Poppy Parade and So Saffron ink and used Old Olive for the stems and leaf.

The sentiment part of one stamp from the "Afterthoughts" stamp set another hostess set. I used my 1-1/4 and 1-3/8 inch circle punches for the sentiment.

Did you notice the pretty edging along the side. I made that with the new "Lace Ribbon Border Punch" that will be available In the new Stampin' Up idea book & catalog coming July 1st.

Don't have a demo or access to the new catalog, just give me shout out (e-mail address in my side bar) and I can get one in the mail to you ASAP!!

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by today and
 HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SC337....get well wishes

Good Thursday Morning Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card made with this week's sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers.

This is a great sketch and allows you to use a nice big image, I love it and will be using it again I am sure!

I used a set I have had for awhile and had never inked up. This set is called "Peace Within" from Stampin' Up. I stamped with black stazon onto some very vanilla card stock. I used my aqua painter and ink pads to color in the image. I used crumb cake, soft suede, cajun craze, old olive, pretty in pink, melon mambo, daffodil delight, rose red, and some pumpkin pie. I matted this image with some baja breeze card stock. I used some DS paper from the now retired "vintage springtime" paper pack. I stamped the part of the image that had the pillow in it onto some of the DSP. I cut it out and added it to the image.

The sentiment  comes from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set and I stamped it with black stazon using my stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up. I added some piercing all around the top of the image using my piercing tool and mat pack. I used a bit of crochet trim to wrap around and tie a bow. This is a CAS design not as many layers as I usually do but I still like the design. Sometimes I think you need to keep it simple to let the image shine and this is such a cute, peaceful image I wanted it to shine. I think I would like to curl up with that sweet little kitty in that chair and read a good book or just take a little nap.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

July Door Hangers

Happy Hump Day Peeps!!

Today I am sharing some 4th of July door hangers I have been making. These are a complete CASE of my friend Wendy's design. You can see her door hanger HERE. I saw her door hanger a week or so back and LOVED it, I knew I wanted to make some right away, so Wendy invited me over to "play" and I started one of my own. Of course, with all the chatting, and running out for more supplies and getting lunch I didn't finish mine, but I had a chance yesterday to finish up my first one and to make a couple more.

This is my first one:

Wendy had the paper and stamps for this one and then when we went shopping I picked up some more paper and made this one:

and this one:

The flag stamp is a retired Stampin Up single stamp called "God Bless America" and of course all the stars are Stampin Up punches. The small star punch retired last year and the large star punch is retiring now, so get it while you can!!! I used my oval and scallop oval punches for the "Happy July 4th" which is a non SU stamp. I thought they turned out cute!!!

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Take Care

Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!!!

I just love this new Hostess Set from the Stampin' Up Summer Mini Catalog. It is a Level 2 set called "Love & Care". I had to use it right away as I have been lusting after it every since the Summer Mini was unveiled!

I started off by inking it up with a couple of markers, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. I stamped onto some very vanilla card stock scrap piece of paper I had laying in my scrap pile.  I stamped the flower twice and then added the leaf, it is a separate stamp, gotta love that it makes it easier to add the leaves where ever you want them. I trimmed the scrap down to a 2-3/4 inch square and then matted it with another piece of very vanilla and then a piece of crumb cake.

Then I decided to look for some DS paper to go with my flowers. I can across the retired Christmas pack called Jolly Holiday and it had the colors I needed and I could use the dotted pieces from that pack and it wouldn't look Christmas-e! I matted the DS paper with some very vanilla and the base of the card is crumb cake.

I stamped one of the sentiments in the set with black stazon onto the old olive DSP. I added some very vanilla satin ribbon and tied a bow. I then used some black sticky pearls at the top corners. I added the main image panel to the card with some dimensionals at a slight angle.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

3 x 3 thank yous

Good Monday Morning Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a couple of little 3 x 3 thank you cards I made up yesterday. I needed a couple of little cards to enclose with a  some goodies I made up for my neighbors.

I love the new stamp set that will be available July 1st in the new Stampin Up catalog called
 "Cherish Friendship"
so I pulled it out for these little cards. I stamped the bowl of cherries stamp onto some very vanilla card stock and used my aqua painter to color it in. I used some marina mist, poppy parade, bravo burgundy, old olive and crumb cake.  I used my 1-3/4 inch circle punch to punch out the images. I then used 2-3/8 scallop circle punch for the matt. The card bases are Marina Mist and Poppy Parade. The DS paper is from the new Pocketful of Posies paper pack that will also be available in the new catalog.

The sentiment comes from the Bold Blossom stamp set and I just masked off the part I wanted to use and stamped onto very vanilla card stock. I curled them and cut the end. I added them to the main image piece with a bit of tombow mono liquid glue.

Cute and simple and will look great tied onto the goodies I made. Hope they like them!

Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SSSC121......Kind Thanks

Good Morning Peeps!!!

It is Sunday so that means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Here is the fun sketch Karen has for us this week:

I pulled out another sneak peek stamp set from the upcoming new Stampin Up catalog.
This set is a hostess set called "Simply Soft". I decided to go vintage/shabby chic with my card. I first stamped the flowers with black stazon onto some watercolor paper. I colored with my aqua painter and some old olive, baja breeze, marina mist and crumb cake ink. I sponged with crumb cake and darkened it a bit more with some soft suede ink. I used the "French Foliage" Stamp set to add some water marks. I matted this with some baja breeze card stock.

The circle is made with crumb cake card stock that I embossed with the vintage wall EF. I then crumbled it all up and smoothed it back out, sponged it and then stamped some more images from the French Foliage set.
The sentiment is from the "Thank You Kindly" stamp set and is stamped with Soft Suede ink. The BG paper is also a sneak peek and is from the Pocketful of Posies DSP pack. That layer is also stamped and sponged. I added a vintage brad to the sentiment piece. I used some crochet lace trim to make a bow and added some basic pearls to finish it off.

I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with and don't forget to link it up over at Karen's blog for all of us to see.

OK, let's see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Team has in store for us this week:

Snow Much Fun

TGIF Peeps!!!

Today I have another sneak peek for you. This is from an up coming new set called "Snow Much Fun"!! Ya'll know I love me some snowmen!! This guy is such a cutie!!! I used some retired DS paper from last year, since we didn't get any Christmas/winter type paper in our sneak peeks. This is from the Deck the Hall paper pack.

I stamped the snowman onto the very vanilla card stock with black stazon ink. I colored with my aqua painter and ink pads. I used basic gray, cherry cobbler, always artichoke, soft suede and pumpkin pie.I added a bit of dazzling diamonds to the snowman but the picture didn't capture it at all.

Since the snowman is quite tall, he is almost 4 inches, he takes up alot of room on the card. I struggled a bit with where to add my sentiment. I finally decided to use part of one of the sentiments and cut it apart and add it to the main panel. I added some cherry cobbler and always artichoke seam binding and a few basic pearls.

Well, that is all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Thank you, thank you

Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!

Today I have a card to share with you using a new set that will be available July 1st. The set is called "Cherish Friendship". I was drawn to this set when I first saw the sneak peaks last week. When my order arrived I pulled this out first and stamped it onto some very vanilla card stock so I could color it.

I used some black stazon ink to stamp the chair image and then colored with my aqua painter and ink pads. I first colored the chair with some crumb cake ink and then colored the basket and flowers. After finishing it I thought it looked plain, so I went over the chair with some baja breeze and I like the look, looks a bit old.

I used some crumb cake for my card base and then baja breeze and baja breeze DSP for my next layers. The sentiment comes from the Blod Blossom stamp set. I inked up just the "thank you" and used my stamp-a-ma-jig to position it where I wanted. I did it twice. I added some baja breeze seam binding and a few basic pearls. The main image panel is added to the card with some dimensionals.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!

Just For You

Good Monday Morning Peeps!

I am still playing around with my Sunny Garden papers. Just love them and since they will be gone in less than a month I thought I would make another card with them. I also LOVE this flower from the Stampin' Up Flower Fest stamp set. This stamp set is from the Summer Mini Catalog, I love the Mary Engelbreit fell that these flowers have.  "Bloom where you are Planted" a favorite Mary quote.

The base of the card is Poppy Parade card stock and then I followed that with some whisper white card stock. I then used a couple of patterns from the Sunny Garden paper pack for the layers. I cut a circle and embossed it with the square lattice EF and then added the main panel.

The sentiment comes from the Level 1 Hostess set called "Afterthoughts" another retiring set. I love the font on this particular stamp.

I added some poppy parade ribbon and a couple of basic pearls for my embellishments.

Another fave Mary quote:

"Life is just a chair of bowlies"

Well, that is all from me today, I have new goodies due to arrive today and I am so excited to get my hands on the new catalog!!! I will have some sneak peeks for you this month and I have to get crackin' on my first Control Freaks Swap cards, I am so excited and a bit nervous about that!!

If you don't have a demo and would like to get a new catalog as soon as they are available just shoot me an e-mail and I can get you on my list!

HAPPY STAMPING!!

SSSC120.....Hello

Good Morning Peeps!!! It is Sunday so that means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Here is the fun sketch Karen has for us this week:

I pulled out my favorite DS papers right now, the Stampin' Up Sunny Garden paper pack. Love the bright cheery colors in this pack.

The base of my card is a 5 inch square of Poppy Parade card stock. I followed that up with some so saffron, even tho the the catalog says Daffodil Delight is a match to this paper pack I like the look of so saffron better. I made my circles with my nestabilities dies and used more DSP from the same pack.

I stamped the flower stamp from the "Hello Blossoms" single stamp set several times, one each in Poppy Parade, So saffron, and Peach Parfait. I cut out the flowers and added them over the Pear Pizazz  piece with some dimesionals. I then stamped one more time with black and used my 1/4 inch punch to punch out the letters and add them to the flower blooms. I added a strip across the bottom of so saffron that I had embossed with the square lattice EF. I then used some poppy parade ribbon and some rhinestones to embellish. I finished it off with a cute little so saffron butterfly!

I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with and don't forget to link it up over at Karen's blog for all of us to see.

OCC...Wedding Challenge

Good Saturday Morning Peeps. It is time for another new challenge over on the Our Creative Corner Blog. This week our challenge hostess is the fabulous Sharon Wheet from Designs by Sharon. Sharon has challenged us to make a Wedding card or project. Here is what Sharon said:

For this weeks challenge, we want to see you create a soft and elegant wedding-theme paper craft item, card, project, or scrapbook page. There are a few requirements for this challenge, tho. To be consider as one of our top picks, you must include: sheer fabric (organza, tulle, etc.), some trim (ribbon, lace, bakers twine, crochet trim, etc.), a flower (hand-made/bought), at least one pearl, and some stitching (faux, hand, or machine.).

I have had a rough week, well since mid-week anyway and it is certainly effecting my mojo. This is the second card I made today and I really am not thrilled with this one but it is much better than the first. I also had a bit of time getting all the elements on here and  I still think I missed one of them, but it has been a long day and I don't want to start over again. BLAH!!

I used a base of Blushing Bride card stock and I followed that with some very vanilla card stock. The DSP is from the hostess in-color print pack. I stamped the flower image from Happiness Shared onto some very vanilla card stock and colored it with my aqua painter. I used some blushing bride and old olive ink. I shaded around the image with crumb cake and splattered with some soft suede ink. I added the faux stitching around the image with a soft suede marker.

The crochet trim is some I had in my stash. I then added some very vanilla ribbon, (my sub for sheer fabric, it is a stretch I know!) My flower is the stamped image and I used alot of pearl swirls. I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set with soft suede ink.
