A Very Merry Christmas Tags

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing some gift tags I made using the Stampin Up Reason for the Season stamp set.

I used the chalkboard technique for these,

The poinsettia is made using the Festive Flower Builder Punch.

I used basic black card stock for the tags and stamped the sentiment with Versamark and then embossed using white embossing powder,

I sponged the edges and a bit around the middle of the tag using my whisper white kraft ink.

The flower is added using a few dimesionals.
The centers are some gold little pearls I had in my stash.
I used some Real Red Ribbon for the tops.

Linking this to the Stamp, Ink Paper Challenge this week which is Winter Holiday

Thanks for stopping by today.

FMS....Merriest Wishes

Hello Peeps!!!

Popping in here quickly to share a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I don't know about you but I was totally smitten with the Merriest Wishes stamp set and the Merry Tags framelits.
It was on my wish list and when I saw it on the retiring list I snatched it up.

I LOVE that little deer.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake and I used a piece of DSP from the Presents&Pinecones pack.

I added a touch of Gold Foil paper.

The sentiment is stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

FMS..........A Very Merry Christmas

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the Stampin Up set Reason for them Season for my sentiment  which is done using the chalkboard technique.
My Poinsettia is done with Real Red ink and card stock and the Reason for the Season set and Festive Flower Builder punch. The leaves are done with Mossy Meadow card stock.

The base of the card is Very Vanilla and then a layer of Basic Black followed by a piece of DSP from the This Christmas Specialty pack.

I added some real red ribbon and silver cording behind the image for the horizontal element in the sketch. I am so bad at the messy swirls and ribbon behind the main elemnt thing that is trendy right now, but working on it! Lol!!

Another Christmas card done, I made some matching gift tags using this Chalkboard technique I will show them to you later.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Star of Light

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

Popping in here quickly to share a card I made using the beautiful Stampin Up Star of Wonder stamp set and matching thinlits.

I love Night of Navy with Silver for Christmas cards.

These dies make a gorgeous card and even better, makes them fast and easy.

I made this card using a sketch challenge that has since passed,  I  have a hard time these days getting a card done, photographed, edited and blog post done in any kind of a timely matter.

But this card is so pretty I  had to share.

Hope you enjoy it

Creative Challenge with Wendy......Post It Notes

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

I made it through the long Black Friday weekend at my work and I am more than ready for a couple of days off. It was crazy busy!!

So as you all know my sweet friend Wendy, from WeeBeeStampin4Fun, and I have been doing Creative Challenges back and forth for a while now. It was my turn to throw down the challenge and when I was getting some swaps ready for OnStage last month I came across these little post it note holders with pens that I bought a few years back from Pick Your Plum. I decorated a few to give out to some friends.
While making them I decided they would be great for our next Creative Challenge. So I packed a few up, along with some other things, and mailed them off to Wendy.

The Santa thinlit die is ALMOST a perfect fit.

I die cut my Santa using Cherry Cobbler card stock. I did trim off just a bit of the Santa along one side and then reglued down the the edge piece to give it a finished look.

The sentiment on here comes from the Greetings from Santa stamp set.
I stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and die cut with a small die that is in the Bakers Box thinlet set.

I then had to make one using the new stamp set I was able to pre order from the upcoming Occasions mini. I love the Lift You Up set with matching dies. The hot air balloon is PERFECT!
The dies even cut out the pieces that fit behind the balloon, the ones I cut in different colors. Those pieces can be used like I did here or to make another hot air balloon, they are so versatile. Do you see the clouds? They are another die in the set and the matching stamp set.

The DSP on here is one that will be available in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Inside shot of the post it note holder with little ink pen.

And her is picture of both my endeavors:

I think they both turned out so cute.

I hope you will hop on over to Wendy's blog to see what she did with my little challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today!

SUOnly......Merry Christmas

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Toady I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at the
SUOnly Challenge Blog. which is Holiday Cuteness.

What is more cute than this little Fox, from the Stampin Up Foxy Friends stamp set,
all dressed up in his holiday attire.

I love how he turned out.
The tree is from the same set and is stamped with Old Olive ink and I hand cut it out, even tho there are framelits that match it.
The Fox is stamped using Chocolate Chip ink a couple of times and then he is punched out with the matching Fox Builder Punch.
I added the head to the fox using a dimensional
The Santa hat, holly leaves and bow tie are from the Snow Friends stamp set.

The Merry Christmas banner comes from the White Christmas stamp set.
I added a star to my tree using some glimmer paper and a star framelit from the Starlight Framelit set.

The base of the card is Real Red card stock.
The DSP is from the Candy Lane pack and I matted it with the thick Whisper White.

I had a piece of white already embossed with the Woodland folder
in my stash so I just grabbed it to use for my background.
I hope you like this card as much as I do.
I had so much fun putting it together.
Most of my stamping time lately is very rushed
and so limited, which is playing havoc with my mojo. :(

This is the very first card I made when I got my supplies. I love the heart die in the Love Note framelit set..

This was a fun little project. I used the new glassine paper to make a treat bag and then a just folded up a little holder for the treat bag.  I had fun decorating this.

Special Reason........Friend Like You

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made for a friend using a fun new set I received at OnStage.

This set is called Special Reason and will be available in January from the new Occasions mini.
I could not believe my luck in winning this set during one of the Prize Patrols, it is right up my alley, cos you know I love a pretty flower set.

I took some inspiration for this card from the sample in the upcoming Occasions mini.
I started wth a base of Crumb Cake and then a layer of So Saffron that I embossed .

Also I used some other fun little embellishments I got at OnStage, the flower centers.
Aren't they soooo pretty?

Hope you enjoy this little sneak peek.

SUO Challenge.......Time to Deck the Halls

Hello Peeps!!

The SU Only Challenge this week is Celebrations of All Kinds.

What better Celebration  than Christmas and all that goes with it?

I love this little Merry Mice set and so I used it again for this challenge card.

I stamped this little trio onto some thick whisper white card stock and colored with my markers.

I used Soft sky for the base and added
a bit of silver glimmer paper around the image panel.

I used some burlap ribbon across the card and half of a paper doily to fancy it up a bit.

Another Day of Display Samples

Hello my sweet Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a couple more of my Stampin Up Display Samples.

This is the other moster in the Yummy in my Tummy stamp set.

I stamped him with black memento onto some thick whipser white and colored with markers.

Isn't he cute?

The DSP is from the Sending Love Paper Stack.
I used some Smokey Slate card stock for my sentiment panel.

Another one of my favorite creations was this cute little treat bag.
I used the Kraft Gift Bags from Stampin Up and decorated it with some of the
DSP from the Sending Love pack.
I stamped the monster with black stazon onto some watercolor paper and colored with my aqua painter and ink pads.
The little mini paper clip is also a new item and I tied a bow using some for the twine from the Candy Lane combo pack.

Finally this little cutie. I used a EOS lip balm for my Monsters Tummy.
He is colored simply with my Pink Pirouette marker and cut out. I cut out his tummy using a small circle die and popped in the lip balm.
I added him to a simply made Crumb Cake box.
I did add a doily behind him and then finished up with a gold clip tied with some red satin ribbon,

Hope you enjoyed my Yummy in my Tummy creations.
I will be back soon with some more samples.

Thanks for stopping by today

FMS......Merry Christmouse

Happy Saturday Peeps!!!

Popping in here quickly to share a card I made
using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I just love this stamp set from Stampin Up called Merry Mice, I had been eyeing it for  a bit in the Holiday catalog and so when it went on sale this month I snatched it up.

My circle element is a bit bigger than what is pictured in the sketch but I think you get the idea.

I stamped the image onto some thick whisper white card stock and then colored with markers.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock and the DSP on here is from the Candy Lane paper pack.
I added a bit of silver glimmer paper across the top.
I used a piece of the burlap ribbon that I pulled out a couple strings to make my bow.I added acouple of the mini jingle bells to the center of the bow.

The sentiment is stamped with black memnto ink and I added the stars across the base using crumb cake ink.
This set is so cute I made another card with it and I will show you that one real soon.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check back as I will be sharing more of my display samples this week as well.

Display Sample.....Yummy in my Tummy

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Finally getting the first post up with one of my display samples.

This set was my favorite, straight out of the box, when I got my supplies for stamping.
I didn't know the name as the set came with no paper cover showing the stamped images or the name. Just a clear case with the set in it. talk about hot off the press.....lol!!

I stamped the big ol monster onto some watercolor paper with black stazon and colored him with my gray ink pad and aqua painter,

I fussy cut him out and did the same with the center of his tummy. I colored it with red of course.

The BG paper is from the Neutrals paper pack and I used a small piece of the new Sending Love DSP.

I love how this one came out. The two monsters in this set are sooooo stinking cute

Thanks for stopping by.

OnStage Share

I am excited to finally share what I have been up to lately.

I was a display stamper for Stampin Up's OnStage event.in Kansas City
It all happened this past Friday and Saturday and as of today at noon I am able to share pics of my samples and other things from OnStage

Above is a picture of my cards on the display board. Sorry for the quality of the picture but I only had my phone and unfortunately it dies early on Saturday and I had not brought my charger with me to the convention center, so I really only got a few pics at the actual event.

Anyway I was sent the Sealed with Love stamp set with matching die, this is a beautiful Suite of products. Also I got the Yummy in my Tummy stamp set to work with.

I will show closeups of my samples this week, so you can see more detail but I wanted to share the hanging displays. I had such fun working with both of these sets.

Above is the list of all the display stampers.

So many Stampin Up demos in the same place.

Some of my swaps, I finished up in the hotel the night before, I had another swap not pictured, I will show you that one later when I get a picture of the few I have left.

I got so many amazing swaps in return. I will share some of those with you too later.

I meet so many new people, way out of my comfort zone to introduce myself to anyone.

This is me and Erica Cerwin, she was so sweet and I was so nervous.
I even forgot the swap card she gave me,
I left it laying on her table when I ran away in total fear and embarrassment.!!! LOL!!

I think Angie Juda was at her table too, but I could not take introducing myself to two superstars at once and
then I never got the chance to meet Angie!

I also introduced myself to Brian Pilling, he was super sweet and kind.
I did not get a picture of him either.

I did get a picture of one of the first Prize Patrol winners at my table before my phone died!

So exciting!!
We all one Prize Patrol at our table and then several prizes that everyone got!

It was a fun day, very long we checked in around 7:30 in the morning and finished up a little after 6 that evening!

Thank you so much for stopping by and  be watching for all my upcoming display samples and some other fun new stuff creations.

FMS.........A Christmas Wish

Happy Saturday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I changed mine up a bit, I made my card a square.

I love this big ol Poinsettia, I used the Reason for the Season stamp set and Festive flower Builder Punch.
I stamped the flower with Real Red ink onto Real Re card stock and used the matching punch to punch it all out.
I layered the flower petal up using dimensionals between the layers.

I made a few green leaves using Old Olive ink and Old Olive cardstock.

I used a bit of Crushed Curry for the flower center and a gold sequin finished it up.
I then used one of the dies from the Flowering Flourishes die set and die cut a few gold berries. I added them around the Poinsettia.
The sentiment is from the Joyful Season stamp set.

thanks so much for stopping by today!

Halloween Treats

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

So sorry for the long silence here on the ol blog,
I have still been busy crafting, working and taking care of baby.

I have been making some display samples and some swaps, I will show those to you early next month.

I do have some Halloween treats to share with you tho.

I have been making these a few at a time to hand out to my co-workers.

The above ones hold a chocolate kiss candy. They are so much fun to make and use the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set with matching punch.

The Dracula is colored in with markers.

The Mummy has an added sparkly bow tie and the Skeleton has a sparkly heart!

Next up is something that was popular last Halloween and I got all the items to make them and then just did not have the chance to do it.
So I pulled it all out this year along with some retired Halloween DSP. I love them, so fun!!!

Witch hats are made with a tree punch and a couple of circle punches or circle dies.
The bow is of course made with the bow builder punch.
Then a small clothespin is glued inside to make it a clip.
I did spray paint my clothespins black so they blend in better and are less noticeable.

Here they are clipped on some treats,
so cute how it looks like the pumpkin on the package is wearing the witch hat!

Yummy Russell Stover chocolates.

And some Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins:

These are slid inside a small cello bag and folded over with the hat clipped on.

So I hope you enjoyed seeing my Halloween treats today.

Also sharing a pic of  baby Audrey:

Hard to believe she is 6 months old already!

Mom and Dad took her pics for this month at a local Pumpkin patch.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
